No. KernelCash has no bank connection at all: no Plaid or other aggregators, and no bank passwords. You download a transaction file from your bank's website and upload it to KernelCash.

No. KernelCash never stores routing numbers or full account numbers. At most it keeps the last 4 digits to help you tell accounts apart, and only if you allow it in the Data Collection setting.

No. KernelCash will never sell your data.

KernelCash imports OFX and QFX files. Most banks and credit unions offer one of these formats as a download on their website.

Sign in to your bank’s website, open the account’s transaction history, and look for a download option. Choose OFX, QFX, Quicken or Microsoft Money as the format and pick the date range you want.

It is processed in the background, typically within a couple of minutes, and then the raw file is deleted. Duplicate transactions are skipped and changed ones are updated, so re-importing an overlapping date range is safe.

There is one plan, Pro, at $7.99 a month or $69.99 a year. The yearly plan works out to $5.83 a month and saves 27%. Every feature is included.

Yes. Both the monthly and yearly plans start with a 1-month free trial. A card is required to start your trial.

Payments are handled by Stripe. After your trial, you are billed monthly or yearly depending on the plan you chose.

Yes. Spaces let you invite others and give them a role. You can invite unlimited collaborators to a Space at no extra cost.

No. You assign each transaction to a bucket yourself, so your budget always reflects your own decisions.

No. KernelCash is a web app that you use in your browser.
